Saint Patrick's Day in Junior Infants
The children learned all about Saint Patrick in our Grow in Love Programme. To celebrate the day, we learned a fun poem about a leprechaun and put together a piece of art using painting, colouring, cutting, sticking and writing. We also made some shamrocks to bring along to the parade.
STEM in 2nd Class
Pupils in second class have started weekly workshops in Lego WeDo 2.0. They have already built a cooling fan, a satellite and a security robot.
St. Patrick's Day Crafts in 2nd Class
Pupils in second class were busy constructing these leprechaun masks and spiralling snakes recently.
In February/March the whole school took on the "Climb the Heights" challenge for skipping. This was a great challenge and all children thoroughly enjoyed it!
