School Guest Speaker and Showcase: Birds of Prey. Habitats, Life cycles of Animals
Juniors-6th Class enjoyed having a guest speaker to showcase birds of prey and animals which live in our environment. The guest speaker used real taxonomy animals which gave the children a great insight into how these animals look, feel, their size and other physical features like claws, beaks, tails, wings etc. The children could see how these physical features are important for these animals in order to survive and adapt in their envrionment and how they are needed for catching food.
The children got an insight into habitats, food sources and life cycles of animals in our local envrionment. The children learned the importance of preserving the envrionment and habitats so thesee animals can thrive natrually and maintain a healthy ecosystem.
